HomeworkDaily Reading Log- Read for 10 minutes and record on your reading log. Reading logs will be due at the end of each month. Students will earn a sticker and a prize for each reading log turned in.
Handwriting practice: finished for the year!
Math: Bridges Home Connections assignments will be send home on Monday. They are to be turned in on Friday's.
Spelling: Spelling words have been sent home. A spelling menu will be completely weekly to review spelling words. These do not need to be turned in unless you would like feedback. This is for you and your students' own benefit and can be completed at your own pace :) See attachment below for each week's spelling list.
Word Wall Words: We will be reviewing the following high-frequency words this week and they will be added to our class word wall: does, what, school, not

- Flash-Cards
- Pick up: Lay out all of the words printed on cards and have your child “pick up” a word you call out.
- Word hunt: Have your child “hunt” for a word in a text they are reading by giving clues. For example, “find the word that begins with t and ends with e.” –the
- Reading: Have your child point out some of these words in the books they are reading.
